I'm going to count transfer wide receiver, Reggie Roberson, as our first recruit for StangGang2019. Have to find a silver lining somewhere, right? :)

Even though Mustangs have not been able to close on anybody yet, I am optimistic. I like that we are aiming higher. That would be my approach if I were in charge. Once the dam breaks, I expect several recruits will join the fold. Go Ponies!

This is probably more appropriate under recruiting

More athletically correct

I suspect we will see a big jump after the June camps. If we don't get a bunch of commitments at that time, I'll be concerned.

Can we call them the “summer” camps? I got a cold chill for a moment reading your post.

You didn't hear? June is coming back for three two-week "Pineapple Camps." Camp MVP gets a skull and crossbone sticker for their helmet

Couldn't agree more. Haven't seen a game yet, but everything i have seen from the new coaches had been encouraging.

Recruiting by *stars* is such a Craps Shoot, evaluation and development is so much more important apparently. Looking at the 247 All-Time Recruits List and found that many/most of our Highest Ranked Recruits did very little here and many lower ranked ones did well, for example, Courtland was #90 and Wyatt #229. This list only goes back to 2010 or thereabouts. Just found it a bit interesting.
