Ricky Stromberg was a two star recruit across the board when he was committed to Tulsa. Only offers were Ark St, Colorado St.

Then Morris offers and he commits to Ark. All of a sudden he is 3-4 stars across the board. Those ratings are such bs sometimes...

I would assume the same thing would have happened if he committed to just about any SEC school.

Not really he was a 4 star with a 90 rating on 247.com's own scoring system BEFORE he decommitted from Tulsa and he committed to Arkansas. What you have here is a very highly rated prospect by the best service whose composite score (which every one looks at) is being unfairly depressed by the worst recruiting services probably not doing their job. And btw he wasn't a 2 star across the board-even on the 247 Composite score (which blends scores from several services) he was still a pretty highly rated 3 star with something like an .8555 ranking

My information comes from an Arkansas alum.fan who says that the rating adjustment is actually being discussed on the Hog radio stations.

247.com has a Rankings tracker-he's been shooting up the charts on their own ratings system since September rising 450 places in September and several times throughout the fall and became a 4 star before being offered by Arkansas, visiting Arkansas, decommitting from Tulsa or committing to Arkansas. Now up 700 spots on the 247 rating system. 2nd highest SPARQ rating nationally among Offensive Linemen
