SMU lands Flower Mound defensive end

Flower Mound (Texas) defensive end Stone Eby (6-4 / 245) announced via his Twitter account that he is committed to SMU:

"First and foremost I want to thank god for putting me in this situation and giving me the opportunity to play college football. I want to thank all of my coaches who have been here for me and helped make into the player And young man I am today. I want to say thank you to my parents for pushing me to be the best that I can always be and to never take a play off when I’m on the field and for being so [deleted] me whenever I’m off the field and for helping me with everything I’ve needed along the way. I want to say thank you to all the coaches who took a chance on me and gave me an opportunity to play Division 1 football at multiple schools. With that being said I’m staying home and will be attending Southern Methodist University. PONY UP"

Remember when we used to sign 190 pound DEs with the promise that they would grow into college size? This guy hasn't even started his senior year yet.
