Along with the exciting Stone Eby news this weekend we went out and offered 4-star ND commit David Abiara, and also got a crystal ball pick for Braylen Jackson. All three defensive linemen seemed to comment on the new on Twitter. It would be very cool if we were able to flip a 4-star from ND and pull in another top 150 player in Texas in Jackson. If we can pull it off and land Byrd, is that enough momentum to grab Cam Wheaton?

Even without Camar Wheaton, that would be an amazing class! However, landing a stud running back like Camar could definitely elevate the program to the next level especially if he makes it big-time in the NFL.

Agreed, I would be thrilled with or without Wheaton. That said I think it’s important to continue building excitement through the dead period to ensure we minimize any flips once local prospects can start visiting elsewhere again.

Got to love how much this staff is prioritizing the defensive line. Go get 'em, coaches.

Wheaton would be amazing to go with Stone though... tough to defend that backfield... just read his scouting report.
