In addition to the really great job Sonny and his staff are doing, I believe credit is also due to several other schools in the AAC for maintaining a quality program that has raised the overall profile and raised the competitiveness of the conference. Recruits know that the AAC is a quality football conference that can enhance their visibility.

We are going to have work really hard to keep up with uc on the recruiting trail. Fickell is a great recruiter.

AAC needs to be one of the highest rated conferences as a whole to be guaranteed a spot in the proposed 12 team playoff system so we are just trying to do our part. All AAC teams need to be trying to schedule games against P5 opponents and win the majority of those games as there will always be bias towards the P5 conferences
