add Isaiah Smith. With 2 edge rushers committed, wonder if Maliek Bogard's offer is still on the table?

Sure hope so. Bogard is an incredible athlete and still skinny. Imagine what he'd do if he got to 250 or more. Coaches always say you can't have enough pass rushers. Get him.

With all of the emphasis on local recruiting how did we pick up good D player out of DC? Did he have connections to Dallas?

Isaiah Smith came to our Mega Football Camp - stood out - received a bunch of offers including one from us - unofficially visited - loved the campus (who wouldn’t) and most importantly the coaching staff - committed on the 4th of July

Chase Biddle, a four star TCU lock at CB, has just committed to SMU. Good times.

With all the LBs playing their final seasons at SMU in 2021 and no current LB commits, I'm wondering if we could see some guys converted to those positions next year. Otherwise, let's hope there are players in the transfer portal thinking about SMU. Should be some top flight DBs playing at P5 programs that might be a step too slow but could add weight and be very effective LBs. I've always thought a safety with good size and speed makes a good LB

With Robinson, Moore, Hailey, Phillips, Holloway, Ellison, Ndukwe, Wiley & Coxe all listed as SR LBs, this really looks like a position of need for next year

Biddle and Goree might have helped against Houston last night

We only have 10 commitments - Cory Hendrix de-committed over a month ago and said he is going to Blinn JC - he also said that he is not going to play football at Blinn and that he eventually plans to go to A&M and walk on
