First of all, Congrats to Sonny and coaches for garnering such a talented and sought after recruit. But since I do not possess the knowledge of how such a commitment is procured, how does a young man with so many offers commit to us when there is so much speculation about Sonny’s future. Why not wait until signing day. I’m sure his verbal isn’t binding, but why commit rather than wait a few months until the SMU head coaching position is 100% secured- I’m not savvy as to the recruiting/commitment process, just curious. Thx
