SMU is currently ranked 79th behind UTSA, Memphis, Tulane, Campbell, Temple, Colorado St, Arkansas St, Boise St, Liberty, Florida Atlantic among others. Hopefully it will get better with the transfer portal.

We are Top 10 in the nation in the transfer portal. An incredible class which looks to get even better.

Would not worry about this year's H.S. signings. It's all about the transfer portal for next year's newcomers. Need guys to contribute right away and not many true FR will

I don't have Rivals but it is important to pay attention to rankings per recruit rather than total numbers. Our class was small since we do well in the Transfer Portal. Do we still lag behind in that category?

I’m looking at 247 and not Rivals, but our average high school recruit ranking puts us in fourth place in the current AAC, slightly behind the three schools leaving for the B12. Far from horrible. Add the transfers and the staff’s doing a helluva job, first place in the current AAC.
