Jaylen Moses, a 2024 cornerback (5-10 / 170) from Carrollton (Newman Smith), Texas, announced via social media that he has committed to SMU.

Moses chose SMU over offers from Washington State, Tulane, San Diego State, Texas-San Antonio, Memphis, Arkansas State, Louisiana, Mississippi Valley State, Texas Southern, Texas State, Utah State, Weber State
