SMU Should Win

This is a "must" win for us. We let this one get away last year on their floor. We must guard against a letdown.

ASU is 4-5 on the year but 2-5 on the road.
The two teams they beat on the road were LaSalle and they are No. 240 (Sagarin) and St. Francis(NY)
No. 283. Both are not very good this year.

The only quality team they have beaten is George Washington (No. 62nd, 6-2) by 3 at home (they lost to GW in Washington 76-62.) They blew out a small school Piedmont College 92-36 at home.

They have lost to Boston College (No.22) 92-67
and Charlotte (No. 55) 85-64. ASU is ranked 197.
They seem to average in the mid 60s. If my math
is close - Saragin says we will beat them 80-73.

If we play well and don't have a letdown, we may
beat them 80-60; however, we have problems when we get ahead because we tend to play down to the competition. We are currently ranked 143.

Again - we need to see motivated, high energy players on the floor who will get this done and experiment with the bench to see if Miller or
Bennett or Pearson can give us some punch.
If we can step it up a notch from our semi-poor performance against Wake - we should be OK.

Can Dement get them up for this game?
