A former coach of mine would preach about not
looking to far ahead on the schedule. He would always break
conference down into quarters.
A 16 game schedule gives you 4 quarters.
We were 1-3 in the first.
Currently 2-0 in the 2nd.
It's always hard to win on the road, but a w @ S Miss guarantees a winning
2nd quarter. Take care of biz @ Tulane, see where your @,
then prepare for your 3 rd qtr which includes UTEP,
@ U of H, Rice & at Memphis.
Exciting times.

I can't even look at the schedule beyond tonight, lol. Want a W in the worst way.

this team would make a lot of noise if they were to win these last 2 games...they would come into the CUSA Tourney as the team nobody wants to have to play

After the way this season started, I just hope they can win one of the last 2 regular season games and pick up a 1st round tourney win to at least finish the season at .500

I'm just cheering for 500 regular season, with a win in the tourney

That would be the goal at this point.....Doh let the kids play last night and they really gelled as a unit playing against Houston. Of course the main reason is his bench is not so deep, but still. The zone didn't work so good against those guys with Coleman and Brown shooting so well (and Van Slyke even hits his shots) as SMU had to go back to a man defense, but they toughed it out. I still can't believe they scored 94 points!
