It's unbelievable how they got worked up over this, and its funny how they don't mention that Sallie was the main instigator of the player confrontations by being mad that we scored at the end.

I will say this for Doherty, I think its a plus that he can get opponents and their fans so worked up, he must be doing something right.

I think this whole situation is hilarious. I'm not a big Doh fan, but I'm glad that he'll stick his neck out there for the team and show some grit.

I think its pretty sad and an indication of the lowly state of our program that 2 of our most memorable moments from this season involve Doherty induced confrontations during post-game handshakes (UAB meltdown and now Memphis).

Incorrect - The win against Memphis - the after court stuff after that win is inconsequential. It is hard to believe that all you took away from the Memphis win is the after game dispute.

Correct-I'm talking about the loss to Memphis when he made waves barking with fans and their coach. If you want to talk about the win against Memphis I will mention how he moaned because his kids were celebrating too much after a nice win. Doh must be bi-polar post-game.

The RoboDoh ad was, as Charles Barkley would say, "TURRABLE". It wasn't hip, funny, creative, or interesting. I winced whenever I saw it

If he actually said what the writer claims, I'm a bigger fan of Coach Doherty now than I was before.

"At least I went to a real college and not Memphis Tech!"
(Not bad)

"At least they've never changed the name of my school!"
(Weak)

"They need to take all those championship banners down because that school doesn't exist anymore!"
(Solid effort, Coach)

"At least my guys actually take their SATs!"
(Outstanding)

Josh Pastner and Memphis are a bunch of hypocrites!!! I was at the Memphis-UH game tonight and Memphis got blown out of the gym, but had to score in the last few seconds of the game despite UH not attempting to score on the previous possession so I guess using their own words they are classless.

That goes without saying, Sallie was only mad because he and his buddies lost to their bookies when SMU covered the spread. Even though I hate Houston, was very glad to see them spank them whining bully tigers like that.

UH playing Memphis would be more entertaining if it was a match of simple arithmetic
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones
