March 19/21 Jacksonville, Fla. Veterans Memorial Arena

March 19/21 Pittsburgh Consol Energy Center
March 19/21 Portland, Ore. Rose Garden
March 20/22 Charlotte, N.C. Time Warner Cable Arena
March 20/22 Columbus, Ohio Nationwide Arena
March 20/22 Omaha, Neb. CenturyLink Center
March 20/22 Seattle KeyArena

Call me biased, but Charlotte is a great city, very fun and similar to Dallas. I also love Jax - have family at Sawgrass. But yeah, the others not so much...Pitt, LV, Columbus, Omaha? What is this - a tour of the RUST BELT?

Why are you hating on Lunardi for missing us? He has gotten either 67 or 68 teams the last 3 or 4 years. Hate on the selection committee for being incredibly incompetent.

Apparently neither of you have been to Louisville, hands down one of the better cities to have fun in if it's not Chicago, NY, Vegas, or South Beach. You'll have a better time in Louisville than Dallas and I have no personal interest in Louisville, it's just a fun city (actually I may have a little bias because I do love the Derby). I've never been to Omaha but I've actually heard good things from quite a few. The one awesome thing about Columbus is Nationwide is right in the middle of the Arena Bar district. Tons of bars/clubs/restaurants right there and downtown CBus is really clean/safe.

Pitt, eh, it's okay, has a few good bar spots. Jacksonville blows [deleted], Seattle is awesome, Portland is pretty good but definitely a big step down from Louisville/Seattle. Charlotte is good, has a few good clubs/bars, I've never had a bad time there when visiting friends. I'd say the top two on the list are Seattle and Louisville, followed by Charlotte.

Didn't I hear that Houston is the site of National Championship in 2016? If so won't they get a Regional next year to prepare.

Yes they are, and yes they do.

Wait..Portland a step down from Lville? I humbly disagree. I also tend to agree with whomever said Lville is typical rust belt. Yes the downtown is better. .but St Louis /Lville/ Cinci pretty much indistinguishable

Louisville over Portland is laughable when it comes to cities. Not even close.
PonyinNC, Charlotte gets No. 3 on the list for me.
Not sure why most of next year's first round sites are so awful. Omaha?? Really?

The regional sites are marginally better.
March 26/28 Cleveland Quicken Loans Arena
March 26/28 Los Angeles Staples Center
March 27/29 Houston, Texas Reliant Stadium
March 27/29 Syracuse, N.Y. Carrier Dome

LA & Houston = good.
Cleveland and Syracuse??? WTF.

Have you been? It's not at all rust belt. I'm assuming posters haven't been to Louisville if they don't think it's any good

Hell, all you guys drink in Dallas comes from Louisville  And I hate Louisville for the record, just not blind to a fun city. And yeah, definitely more fun to party in than Portland, 10 fold. Although I do like Portland, just more fun. And the Yum is a good place to catch a bball game.

I don't even know why I'm making an argument cause I couldn't give a [deleted] about Louisville, mainly just ignorance. Like I said, I hate all things Kentucky but it doesn't mean it's not a fun city to be in. I guess if you're 50, it's probably not much fun. I would've thought Dallas would be into the horses though which is where the money is anyways.

4th Street is where all of the attractive ladies hang out.

I can attest to Columbus as I went there for US/Mexico game. It's a good time.

Charlotte is meh.

Been to Jax for UF/UGA, which you should def go to at some point. Beside the game/tailgating, it is the WORST place.

Crew Stadium? Kinda sucks that it's not near downtown unfortunately. But it seems to be the only place in the US that the US actually has a home field advantage in soccer. That crowd in Glendale last week was pitiful, pretty sure it was a home game for Mexico.

The guy couldn't get us right the day before the freakin' selection. I know he's more right than wrong (and NO ONE really had us missing the tourney in their projections), but . . . please. Stop.

Seriously? He got 68 of 68 last year and 67 of 68 this year...you are mad at him because he didn't predict that the tournament committee would screw us over? If anything, his inclusion of us validates our team. What are you talking about?

Of the 121 brackets tracked on bracketmatrix.com, there was one that had all 68 teams correct. Patrick Stevens at Syracuse.com. Perhaps Mrydel would be happier if we only discussed his brackets for the next year.
