Well Mr Stallion, sorry but it's disappointing when you are in the race. When you aren't in the race, there is a big difference. I think it's fair to be bummed about this.

We still need a big man no matter how you look at it.

I am happy about Shake, great get. Perhaps we'll find our Napier type.

If I were a coach with a 4th year junior big I would be looking over my shoulder.

When Eman left for China, Emelogu appeared. I'm sure things will work out in the short run and in the long run we will get some of these top 25 types. The program has gone from 0 to 60 in record time. It will soon be hitting West Texas Interstate speeds.

Markus ineligibility is all a grand scheme by the master LB. We have Cannen, B Moore and YM this year. Next year, we'll have MK, B Moore and Tolbert plus all those guards and will run everyone right out of the gym.

(being sarcastic . . . sort of).

And it will be interesting to look back on this recruiting class…both who we got and who we missed two years from now.

Who will shine…who will lay eggs? Recruiting proof isn't who you sign…it's what you do with who you sign.

To this day, still one of the worst nights of my life. I still cringe every time I see them in the ticker.

We will be fine. Nice class. We're on the up!

It's like people think we are recruiting in a vacuum. I don't get the pessimists.

Even The best don't get all their recruiting targets. See Kentucky with Mudiay.

Good recruits win. We have good recruits.

But if we were recruiting in a vacuum, a penny and a feather would fall at the same speed.

The good thing about Larry Brown is that he doesn't have to have specific needs to put into his offense. He is smart enough and flexible enough to make due with what he has and make us competitive. With a bunch of 4 and 5 star players at guard, he could move to a VCU/UCLA style defense (full court all night long). He can set up offenses that feature guard scoring or inside scoring. The guy can coach. Unlike or last football coach who couldn't and wouldn't change his offense to maximize the talent he had.
