Yep. Bakersfield and Santa Barbara will both be tough games. They'll have three point snippers which always give us trouble.

I think we need to go 9-2....

Must wins - G-W, EM, CSUB. UCSB, Del St, TCU, McNeese 7-0

I think we need to split the MSG portion of the 2K vs. Pitt and Mich/Marquette 1-1

Split the USC, Boise road trip 1-1

And I think we beat Stanford at home 1-0

That gives us a 9-2 start heading into conference play.

Individually must wins. We'll lose one or two of those.

Hopefully this is a thing of the past, now that we are long and athletic across the board.

Would be really nice to go through a season with an actual bench and where we will not have to worry day to day which players will be eligible to take the court.

Don't see a 2017 schedule thread so will post here.

Before you start screaming about last years RPI, that was the bottom. We should be good this year and really good after that.

Think it would be a great series to play us/UMass starting in 2017. We have a lot of new players mixing with some old ones. Will be balanced with size, speed and most importantly point guards. Well probably play up tempo and send in waves of subs. Would be some exciting BB to watch.

--- Additional Info -----
We had a four start point guard, who actually may play as shooting guard LuWane Pipkins sit out last year. This past cycle we had a very good recruiting class.

You guys are not to shabby either. On paper both of us had good classes.

Think it would be a great match-up and needdless to say exciting basketball. Hope you guys think about. Know we are open to playing you guys in BB. If you guys want to happen, know it will. Our AD Ryan Bamford was asked a question regarding play SMU and was very open to playing you guys. Mention you are a great RPI team, our BB coach Derek Kellogg wants to play the best, and you are in a very good conference.

The Mullins capacity is around 9,500. Officially 9493, but does not include the 3k per court side seat and extra folding seat rows in the student section. The Mullins and the John Francis Kennedy Champion
Center are on campus. The campus is beautiful and billions on new additions and buildings have gone up in the past 6 years. Campus is part of Amherst, a beautiful college town, located in the Connecticut River Valley.

The atmosphere is great and sold out when we are very good. When people have no confidence in team, even with a lead would win, like a good stretch of last year, is about 1/3 full. In both games, we have not lost to VCU at home and this link is from 2014 and the write-up with vine video loops of inside the Mullins. Even when we were not good like last year, we beat VCU.

This link is from this year of the 11 million dollar donation for the Champion Center and connection to this past years recruiting class.

Enough about us, what about you guys. How are you feeling about your OOC schedule and would you like to see us in your OOC schedule next year with a home and home. Know travel is a bit far. Most teams in our league charter flights in with little or no TSA and is a 20 minute ride to campus. Bradley International airport is between Hartford and Springfield, home of the Basketball Hall of Fame, and is a 50 minute drive. Flying into Providence or Boston are also good options, but the ride is over an hour.

Have you heard that SMU and UMass are in talks to start a series, or you just believe it would be a good matchup? I think it would be a nice OOC game for both schools but there are a ton of good programs in the Northeast, why did you pick SMU? Just curious.
