No-brainer for the AAC. Total guess but I think this is a move to keep UConn from bolting back to the Big East. I know the university's goal is to join a P5 but their fan base only cares about hoops. Playing Tulane and ECU can't compete with playing Nova and Georgetown.

Agree, a total no-brainer, but I hope it has to do with possible Aresco-ESPN negotiations upgrade. Wouldn't that be a nice Xmas present?

If Wichita State gets screwed out of the tournament like some think possible, it would probably up their urgency to bolt.
