SMU-Jackson State history: today is the third meeting between the Mustangs and Tigers. The Ponies won, 80-63, in 2019 ... and for those who aren't old enough to remember, lost to JSU in the South Dallas Classic, 59-58, in a game that required a waiver from the NCAA because the dimensions of the high school court did not meet NCAA standards.
