Congrats to all the SMU fans rooting for TCU. Celebrate. Our only true rival has something over us in the only sport we were better than them at. It really doesn't matter though, we have given up in major college athletics. Go TCU! Yeah!

It's really not hard to understand. They won the NIT. We lost in the final. Where is the confusion? We haven't done anything in the NCAA tourney (0-2) in this run. Advantage TCU.

The lack of hardcore, passionate fans with hate for TCU, or anyone else relevant, is why we are where we are - dying a slow death in the pursuit of P5 relevance. Our fan base can't even garner enough hate for our only true relevant rival to root against them in a meaningful game. We are done. Accept it.

The casual basketball fan probably doesn't even remember we were in the NIT just like they won't remember tcu won this year. Take a deep breathe and enjoy us beat the [deleted] out of tcu next year again
