@mustangsabu in that case they would be able to make the donation at the time they choose their seats

@ponydawg that is not true. There are season tickets that are 180 for the season that require no donation. $10 a game

Aside from StubHub, per game might not be an option after Learfield sells us out, other than the "new tickets just released" that come up prior to games

If the plan is to not give a donation, then buying per game is the option.

Not all season tickets require a donation. Please see the attached chart. For example the upper levels of 207, 208 and 209 do not require a donation.

What exactly is Learfield's role?

Well apparently we have handed things over to Learfield to fill the rest with the waiting list. So the order of events seems to be:

1. Particpants in reseat (more money but it would appear far fewer seats)
2. Waitlist people
3. STH last season who did not participate in the reseat
4. New sales of season tickets

They will find a way to sell out Moody, though I would worry that it will involve ticket-reselling companies.

Heard that over 25% of season ticket holders did not renew. From the last chart that was published maybe it correct given all the unsold upper level tickets.

SMU only cares about the bottom line. No regard for the 25%. $uccessful re$eat.

It appears they don't care about the other 75% if they scheduled games in Cancun, Mexico

Pretty much. Glad they made it an easy decision.

Hopefully the people [deleted] about an extra couple hundred bucks will never [deleted] about us being in a major conference

If that's what this whole thing is about then SMU is going about it in completely the wrong way. Even more so than they were already.

I also don't think that the STH throwing in another $200 is going to make much difference there.

The increase in money was not the issue for me. It was pay me first and find out where your seats are later.
