Let's not hurt ourselves trying to pat ourselves on the back here. Haven't finished well. Many a lazy play. Haven't adjusted exceptionally well. Kept it close...but need to be able to show that extra gear instead of that extra lazy turnover in the last 5.

Key to beating SMU is shutdown Nic and pack it in on our big men because we have no others that can consistently shoot from the outside.

We played really well, they played better.

SMU has hurt themselves a lot today, while UConn is making ridiculous shots.
Just one of those days.

Don't like cross guard with nic guarding him. Giving up way too much size

It's not as disastrous as our choke to Houston last year, but man what a blown opportunity

Like the effort we're still showing though.

He is also a 46% free throw shooter but is 5/5 today. When it rains it pours.

Nic is off today. I think UConn pretty much wore him out and took him out of his game.

Close this out. Don't have to come back to win..but close it out well. Keep it under 10 at the end...within 5 is good.
Worrying thing is, this is what we will face in March. Have to be able to be able to finish in the end.
