What a great afternoon/evening at Moody. For a fan base that seems to get kicked where it hurts a lot, that was pretty special - clinching an outright conference title, honoring three great seniors and spanking a basketball power by 40.

Ha! I was gonna put that but it is kind of like the overrated chant. It doesn't help our cause.

If I heard the announcers correctly, the overrated chant with Duke and UNC was at a particular player. Not sure who it was but they mentioned it during the chant.

Giles. Been injured (knee surgery), so hasn't lived up to expectations.

Does anyone know what the ref was saying to all 5 SMU players at mid court during a timeout late in the game? I thought from the body language and the context he was asking them to tone down the trash talking, but that is just a guess.

No idea, but I was wondering too. We were starting to get a bit overzealous at that point

I know in year one of new Moody the officials had to always get our guys around half court and make them go to the sideline during timeouts. They would always be high fiving and bumping each other when doing well.

I guessed the same thing. Cool it with the trash talking.

What could we have possibly been trash talking about. Besides the most epic beat down of Memphis ever

It's not their fault they're so damn good.

The ref was actually making the "talking" motion with each hand.
