For a 3-team tiebreaker among these teams at 9-9, you would look first to each team's record versus the other two. Tulsa went 2-1, Memphis 2-2, and UConn 1-2 (Tulsa and UConn only played once, with Tulsa winning; all of the other records among them are 1-1).

I think you must mean 5,6,7

UCF is a pretty solid 4

You are correct, thanks!

If form holds, looks like we would play Temple/East Carolina winner and then UCF/Tulsa winner. Houston will certainly have opportunities to impress the committee (if on the bubble) if they have to go UConn then Cincy then SMU.

Wouldn't UConn get Cincy in the first round (2/7). I thought I saw earlier in this thread and somewhere else the first tie-breaker is head to head and Tulsa is 2-1 against UConn and Memphis so they get the 5 seed. Memphis is 2-2 so they get the 6 seed (UH v. Mem), and UConn is 1-2 so they would get the 7 seed. Could be wrong, but that what I thought would happen if all 3 went 9-9.

FYI... the seedings have not changed since I first posted the bracket. Could be some movement after tonight's slate of games.

I love how it says that usf has 'clinched' the 11 seed.

If you set low goals you will never fail!

Temple is a tough 8 seed to draw.

Most likely scenario is that SMU will beat Memphis and Cincy will beat UConn and Tulsa will beat Tulane. That would put all three at 9-9. Wonder how that 5-7 seeding will go?

You're correct.

The final games:
Memphis at SMU
Cincinnati at Connecticut
Temple at South Florida
East Carolina at Houston
Tulsa at Tulane

Assuming there’s no upsets in these final five games, tournament seeding would fall…
1) SMU*
2) Cincinnati*
3) Houston
4) Central Florida
5) Tulsa
6) Memphis
7) Connecticut
8) Temple
9) East Carolina
10) Tulane*
11) South Florida*
* = seed already set

Meaning bracket would look like…
March 9th -
#8 Temple vs #9 East Carolina
#7 Connecticut vs #10 Tulane
#6 Memphis vs #11 South Florida

March 10th -
Temple/East Carolina vs #1 SMU
#4 Central Florida vs #5 Tulsa
Connecticut/Tulane vs #2 Cincinnati
Memphis/South Florida vs #3 Houston

On paper for sure, but outside of Tulsa who of the 1-8 would you rather face in the Quarters?

Temple didn't win a SINGLE game against any of the teams seeded 1-7 seeds in the conference tourney except Memphis(who they for some reason swept). Also lost to ECU by 14 in one of the two matchups. I wouldn't be 100% sure that we will see Temple over ECU.

I have no clue how they beat FSU and WVU, and now are this team.

Note: Cincy will likely play UCONN back-to-back

Won't they have to beat a bottom fish in between?

UConn would be the bottom fish.
