SMU is section 120 (where the 300 seats are). They also have some in 325.

We're going to buy from Prime Sport in section 122

SMU was only given 300 tickets to distribute? Am I reading that correctly?

NCAA only gives a school 450 total tickets for this round, 1000 for sweet sixteen round and 4000 for final four. Here is what Iowa State said about their allocation, guessing SMU would be similar.

Here's another avenue...buy from NMSU's allotment if SMU is sold out

wow, they aren't too generous. 450 is nothing. Hopefully the worthy fans that don't have a billion dollars and 90 million points can dominate the secondary market

Just one more reason to dislike the NCAA!

There might be some discrepancy in the numbers. There might be a pre-purchase allocation amount and a post-selection allocation amount.

Nope that's the number. Apparently they tried to get more tickets from the local host (University of Tulsa) and other sources. But I've had season basketball & football tickets continuously since 1999 when I moved back to Dallas, previously sat on Mustang Club Board, raised money for Mustang Club, been a Boulevarder since its inception, and I did not make the cut. I don't think they should have let everyone do 8 tickets each if the allotment was so small.

I bought in the section over on Vivid Seats essentially for the price I would have paid to SMU, but it's the secondary market fees per ticket that get you. Lots of tickets in upper levels still available directly from the NCAA for face value ($50-66), but I wanted to be down low for this. Bought upper level for Session 2 (taking my mom who is from Kansas and she wasn't prepared to take our chances with scalpers outside).

Hey DiamondM I want you to make sure you bring your "A" game. Glad you got seats on the lower level. Bring it! You are a great fan and I want you to make sure the other team and fans know you are rooting for the Mustangs! :D

Back in my younger days. I would go to the venue and back session tickets from fans who's team had just lost. Might miss A game but I usually bought them at face value

I'll be bringing my A game, two mini-me's, and Mama DiamondM, who has a ridiculously loud whistle that I could never learn. Mr. DiamondM will be on his annual guys trip to Vegas wearing his new custom made #StPoniesDay green SMU shirt.
