A big one about to tip - #3 Arizona St. at Arizona.

I know they’re not our OOC opponents but wow: #1 Nova lost to unranked Butler and #5 aggies lost to unranked Bama. UCF beat Bama on the road where A&M failed so it should give UCF some uplift and likewise for us.

Arizona-Arizona State game is very good, then has to go and throw in a UCLA-esque goal tending play at the end of the first half. Except this time they didn't call it because the ball did not have a chance to go in. WTF

Arizona is starting to look like the team everyone thought they were. That is going to end up being our signature OOC win we have been lacking in previous years.

The job we did on Ayton was genius by Jank. He is a man amoung boys. Likely the first pick in next year’s draft.

A very good night off for the Ponies.

I was impressed, even in the loss, by ASU.
WHAT TEAM SPEED!

And nice to catch up with Mitchell... seems like he landed in a good place.

USC lost their PAC-12 opener, I think they are going to struggle without Milton. Bigger issue I think will be how WKY an NI do. If we are unlucky those could turn into bad losses.

Agree with this and been keeping a close eye on Western KY and Northern Iowa. Western is 2-0 in conference and got robbed at Wisconsin by the officials at the end. I think we are OK there, but Northern Iowa concerns me. They took an upset lost at home in their conference opener (S. Illinois - RPI #126). They are at Bradley today and desperately need to get back on track or that will certainly be looked at as a bad loss come March.

UNI got down 10 early but fought back and lead by one at the half.

And now back down 9 again. Ugh.

Tulane struggling at home with Tulsa. Their home attendance is putrid, you can hear everything the coaches say.

And Northern Iowa loses 72-53 at Bradley. Another bad loss, and now our loss vs UNI goes under the "bad loss" category. AZ win more than offsets that, but we can't afford another or it would need another equalizer (like at Wichita or Cincy).

Tulsa wins at Tulane 65-56

I think rumors of an elite Cincinnati offense were unfounded this year. Still an elite defense and great depth but just not intimidated by this offense so far.

SoCal wins easily last night. Really need USC and Zona to finish near the top of the PAC-12 this year
