Williamson got his double double. Now Harris needs only one more assist to join him

Ambrose-Hylton cans a 3 — his first of the season and third of his SMU career — sending SMU teammates into a frenzy.

Mustangs lead, 90-55, with 5:26 to go.

Utter gets clubbed in the head while driving ... and throws it in — fans go nuts — but officials said the foul was before the shot. Hits 1 of 2 FT to make it 103-67

The win moves us up to 39th in Kenpom! We were already 37th in NET going into the game so hopefully we move up in that and BPI tomorrow when the ratings are updated. Just keep winning! Beat UNT!

Hurts that UNT lost @ Charlotte today. Road wins in AAC play are not easy and the game next week @ UNT will really be tough, especially with the greenies coming off that loss...and Wichita State, even in a down year for them is always tough on their home court. Another tough week ahead for the Mustangs

I was at the game, and I continue to be impressed with the improvement of this team. Always fun to win big and cheer for the bench players at the end, and I was also impressed with the crowd. Announced attendance was 5,772 and that felt legit. Good times are ahead.

Yes, I was happy with the crowd size as well for a Saturday afternoon game. Hopefully, we can keep rolling and be in a position for some sellouts at the end of the year for the conference championship push! 5 games in and we control our own destiny!

We were picked to finish 7th in the preseason coaches poll which is understandable after last year. Barring a total collapse, we are going to be vying for the championship. Really helps going into the ACC on the upswing.
