Sloppy play late in second half. I don't get why we blow so many easy layups

That's more like it. As an SMU fan you generally can't feel good for more than 24hrs. This is a bad loss.

Turnovers were so sloppy. If there is a clutch gene we sure as hell don’t have it.

Team lacks leadership. Shake step up FFS. dudes supposed to be the closer. Chokes on free throws that would've put this game to OT

Shake is really hurting his draft potential..... disappeared against #2 Arizona and now missing the free throw to seal the game

it's a long season...don't jump off that ledge just yet. Hopefully Agau stays healthy and gets stronger and the addition of McMurray for conference play will certainly help.

Unfortunately AAC teams can not afford these type of losses. Committee will absolutely hammer us for this.

If Shake keeps this up, he may be here next year. Both teams were tired but they wanted it more. I hate sometimes we play it so cool. We don’t have an Alpha and there seems to be too much deferring.

Akoy does not look good, hope he gets healthy and comes back strong in Conference. I wish we had Coleby.

I’m proud of the team but sucks this couldn’t end on a positive note.

This is more of a wrist-slitter than a cliff jumper.

21 turnovers mostly unforced.

No go-to guy at the end.

December 18. Jahmal McMurray.

My Arizona Buzz is officially...... Gone. Shake Milton, is the NBA so desperate, that he can come out early?

Man.... is Shake really more comfortable as a third option?
Looks that way.

Shake Milton will end up playing overseas somewhere for a team that doesn't have a website in english.

Beating Arizona was a mirage. Arizona will probably be a bubble team and so will we.

Jank said it would be up and down this year.

Team was totally out of gas the last 4 minutes of the game. Shake had no legs left on the free throw.

Too careless, too many horrible turnovers kept us from taking control of the game. Whitt and Ethan at the end those were really bad turnovers.

UNI won't be a bad loss. This one might. They beat Purdue, but we will see how the season treats them.

Offensively, we again tried to run too much with a post. We didn't stick with small ball that worked last night, and we didn't spread the court enough. Too many dribbles, get up in the air, and force a pass instead of drive hard and finish. We didn't clear them out of the lane enough to get easier looks. Leaving Ethan outside is when we are at our best.

As much as Jank won the game yesterday, I thought putting Akoy in towards the end killed the momentum and clogged the lane. He needs to sit or play blowout minutes until he is back in shape. We should have gone small rather than sub him in.

Was Ray injured?
