Was just thinking the win last night was very similar to the 1980 game when we beat #2 Texas and began the Pony Express. Last night was not that big but it can have they same effect of turning the program in the right direction.

Just curious, what was so special about that 1980 game?

It was the first game for Lance as QB as a freshman running the option after beginning the first few games of the year with Mike Ford at QB with a pro style passing attack. Played #2 UT in Austin as big underdogs and not only won but did so convincingly much as we did last night.
