Point is if you think we are an underdog that me you don't think we are better than they are before we play them. We better recruit well enough for our own fans not to see us as an underdog like you do. And Dixon beats us and gets his recruiting going it will be tough to catch them. If Semi stays I think we beat them next year after Semi leaves that will tell us where this program is headed imo.

You, me, our fans, their fans don't determine who is favored. Doesn't matter in the least what we think. Our program doesn't improve by being favored. Favored or not you have to win. Your argument is as dumb as some of the seeding BS from last week.

Just go out and win. Yeesh.

You said you did not think we would be favored. Do you not think we should be favored over TCU next year if Semi comes back. If not why?

I just figured since you made the statement today you could tell us the thought process that lead to your conclusion.

Minus the games that have to be suspended due to mass ejections after a brawl, yes

This NIT is going to really be beneficial for both TCU and UCF next year, especially if they get to MSG and return most of their rosters. Looking back, that NIT run SMU had was the beginning of a very successful run that of course was interrupted by last year's suspension. I just hope the program can sustain post season play and enjoy more success in the future...either by returning to the NCAA or at least getting to play in the NIT every year

So this re-raises the question we posed among ourselves a few years back. Would you rather have a first round knockout in the NCAA or make it to MSG in the NIT. That is us vs TCU this year. Personally I choose the NCAA because it means our overall year was better but TCU is still playing and we have recently felt that joy.

Rather make it to MSG playing in the NIT than a first round loss in the NCAA - especially if you got the home games like we did.
