I don't think we would host unless we made a deep run in the AAC tourney. Obviously our admin would love to host, but kind of dismissed that as a possibility. We decline if we don't have the bodies. None of us truly know what Ben, Akoy and Ethan are dealing with, along with the other injuries Jank won't discuss. We know at times he has said he only has 2 or 3 scholarship kids for practice, so others are also dealing with things we don't know about presumably.

Don't get me wrong, would love to get more games against good competition for Douglas and others to build off of, but not if those that are injured are too beat up to continue playing. Obviously none of us know for sure. Regardless I'm still hoping for that miracle run in the AAC tourney (with Shake obviously). Stranger things have happened...

Not a big fan of the lesser tournaments however.

Definitely agree. (Still have trouble calling these guys "kids"!)

NIT bracketology is a thing that exists: http://www.nycbuckets.com/current-nit-bracketology/

It says we would likely not make the NIT because we'd get replaced by a regular season champ who loses their conference tournament.

Probably gotta win tonight to make the NIT, unless we beat #1 seed in conference tourney along with beating USF and UConn.
