Any win on the road is a great win. Is the talent upgrade coming to SMU in the near future? McCoy's set back has been a real disappointment for the team. If McCoy played like he played last year this team would probably have 5-6 more wins at this point in the season. Does anyone have any insight on the incoming players? Are they upgrades to the current talent? Still no local interest in the program by high school players is concerning. Thoughts?

There is some talent coming in, but it will be hard to replace Williams and to an extent Faye, after a rough start, Faye has really responded coming off of the bench and has been just as key as Williams these last few games.

For me, a big factor would be for McCoy to rehab well, stay at SMU, and then come out next year as the same player he was last year. All very big ifs, not sure if he will stay at SMU, not sure how long before he is healed, and not sure he can completely refind his game. If he can come in next year and do what Derek did this year, we will be a better team with all the other players getting another year under their belt.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

Defense was REALLY GOOD...good stretch in the 1st half where some of the supporting cast did well

Good boost for the team to not play great but still win against a really talented team

A really talented team that's 6-18, and #225 in the RPI??

Fool yourself not, Ex, ECU has some talent. What they are missing is coaching. I'm not sure if I would have called ECU "really talented" like Doh did but their roster isn't as bare as their record would seem to indicate.
