Also, the odds makers know that the Alumni Band will be present supporting the stangs.

Where IS Rich Alum?

I need to place a bet. We barely scored 16 pts in the 1st half against TCU ;)

I would bet the over. RA may disagree. But I can't bet on Mustang Athletics anyway so take my advice with a grain of salt.

Before you get too excited about that line and bet the farm, look at Baylor’s 2-2 record:

wins:
Hillsboro Free Will Baptist (are you kidding me??) by 41
Arkansas Pine Bluff by 10

losses (both at home):
Louisiana Monroe by 14
A&M CC by 15

Scott Drew has a load of talent coming in next year but they are REALLY BAD right now.

What happened to Baylor forward Harvey Thomas? He was a junior transfer last year at Baylor and I believe their leading scorer. Coming out of high school he was one of the top recruits in the nation. He bounced around from school to school (JCs and Georgetown) and ended up at Baylor last year with two years eligibility left....I thought??

I'm certainly glad we dont have to deal with him because he was a force in the middle.

I think he left in the wake of the Dodson mess.

Thomas declared for the NBA draft, and I think is playing overseas now. Not 100% sure of his current home, but I think its across the water.

This Baylor team looks like it might be worse than last year. Everyone knows about the Dotson scandal, and the players that left afterwards, but after last season they had another round of defections. They lost 4 starters and 9 lettermen. I think Tommy Swanson is the only player back from last year.

Baylors lineup is an interesting crew, the leading scorer is a freshman from Australia, Aaron Bruce. He came up through the Aussies olympic development program, and once torched the US junior team in the 2003 FIBA junior World Championships. He averages 18 a game, and might be the Big 12 Freshman of the year. He's shooting 50% from the field, 47% from 3 point range, and 93% from the line.

Almost the polar opposite of Bruce is small forward Patrick Fields. Fields leads the team in field goal and 3-pt attempts, but he's only shooting 22% from the floor, and 17% from behind the arc. Apparently he thinks of himself as a shooter, but cant hit the side of a barn. Fields walked on at Ole Miss his freshman year, but never got to play. He spent last year at Panola JC.

Guard Kevis Shipman was a teammate of Bryan Hopkins, on Lincolns state championship team. Shipman is getting all of his points from outside the 3-point line, where he is making 50% of his attempts. He has yet to make a shot from inside the line this year, and has not attempted a single free throw in the Bears first 4 games.

Tommy Swanson starts at center, and is the teams leading rebounder. He's the only player left on the team that was recruited by Dave Bliss.

Tonights game is supposed to be the debut of LSU transfer Tim Bush. Bush is a short but muscular power forward, 6'5 and 245. He missed his senior year in high school because of an injury, and played very limited minutes his freshman year at LSU. He has been sitting out for the last year. No one knows how he will play in this, his first game in years.

Finally, the Bears starting point guard is Roscoe Biggers, a curious name considering that he is barely 5'10". Mr. Biggers originally hails from New York, but basketball travels have taken around the country, including a stint at Mt. Zion Academy, where he was teammates with Roy Bright (Cinncinatti) and Jarrett Jack (Georgia Tech). He was a big time scorer in high school, but so far is averaging just 3 points and 2 assists per game for the Bears.

Thats all I know, I havent actually watched them play. I'd say a 12 point line would be pretty acccurate.

Is Chad Elsey still suing Dave Bliss for not paying his law school tuition?

Looks like SMullet has a bit of a gambling problem!!! Keep posting those lines, and hopefully one day u can get enough money to pay our players to point shave...

Oh yeah but we would have to have commanding leads and be able to control our offense to let that happen, so nevermind!!!
