10:47 left in the first and he is 2 for 3 from 3 pt rsange and 3 for 4 overall. 9 pts and four rebounds so far, booyah!!!

A very good performance against a very bad team. I do not know if this means anything except we were able to totally dominate instead of playing at their level. Looks like an un and down season ahead. Should be interesting.

Yes, Baylor is god-awful (although I think they're bringing in some good players next year.) Yes, they're small, and slow and unathletic. So of course Hop is going to look better.

However, what he did tonight was very encouraging. He hit open shots (20-for-15 from the floor!) that he missed in other games this year. He defended well, and he had nine boards and five assists and four steals.

Most important number of the night? ONE turnover.

Welcome back, Hop. There's a way to go, still, but this was a dramatic turnaround. Hopefully this can be one of those turnaround games to get him rolling for the WAC games.
