The free throws made me want to bite myself last night. Castro is one of the few that is usually money at the line and it was just suicide.

It's been a long time ago, but I remember our HS coach making a huge deal out of ft's, teaching proper form and shooting technique as a matter of muscle memory--i.e., many many many many rep's. We could not leave practice until we'd made 8/10...twice. That's every practice. And we were a good ft shooting team. It ain't that hard to get there if it's actually emphasized.

Unfortunately, I am no longer allowed to yell at SMU athletic events (or any other athletic events, for that matter) since I have damaged my vocal chords from years of 'improper' yelling. You have no idea how much this bothers me!!!!!! But if I don't stop yelling, I will no longer have a voice for regular speaking. Therefore, I have to bring my SMU license plate and do my damndest to urge the other fans to yell thru hand gestures.

I heard you a couple of times from the other side of the court last night.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! My wife will see this and I'll be in the doghouse!

How bout a HUUUUUGE dry erase board you can hold up with your comments to the refs?

Your wife didn't need to read about the yelling on the board. I heard him, too, while I was visiting with a friend on the other side of the stadium, and then when he was hoarse, he tried to tell me that "I didn't yell". Yeh, OK, whatever.
