SMU, a ten and a half point underdog tonight at Nevada.... Seems quite high. Is Hopkins still out? Im sure P Simp will be feeling a little better... Let's get lucky in Reno....

10 points ain't too bad

A ten point loss on the road to a good team is not a sign of a weak team any more. The ponies may not have the players yet to win big, but I like what Tubbs has done so far. If we finish at .500 in the WAC, he will have done what he could this year. Still, look at what Penders has done at UH and Price has done for the Aggies. A coach can MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE.

a ten point loss would have looked better than what we got

Sure glad I am not a betting man, because SMU didn't cover the spread very well against Nevada did they. Oh, well, the margin of defeat does not show up in the WAC standings. Guess we should be thankful for small favors.
