There was a great article in Thursday's DMN - Northwest Dallas section about Matt, his grandfather Max, and his mother, who was also a player on the girl's team from 1977 to 1981. The article indicates that he practices 5 hours each day (even during the school year) and puts up approximately 500 shots during these practices. He didn't realize how far out he was making his 3 pointers until he looked at tapes of a few of his games. Most shots were from 4 to 5 feet beyond the arch! By the way, Max is so happy that he has put in a season ticket increase of 10 tickets. He plans to charter a boat to take Max and his two brothers to Alaska this summer.

was the article only in the NW Dallas section? You'd think it would have some relevance to the Park Cities insert as well.
