Ok State Game

Starts in about 45 minutes.

How does anyone think we will do?

I bet we give it a good game but lose in the end by 10. I do NOT want to see a blowout.

I wish we could have played them in football this year instead.

I bet it is a blowout, while OkState may not be as good as in years past, it is at their place, and it seems as though we have had trouble with everyone we have played, no matter how bad that team is. In my mind that doesn't bode well for us.

Game is on Dish Network channel 446.

Just scrolling and found it! OK State announcers, though.

good defensive effort in the first half, but not enough scoring firepower. Dez was solid, his Big 12 experience probably helps in that atmosphere. Cant help but wish Hopkins was playing tonight, OK State is young at guard. Bet Hopkins would like a chance to play Eaton his old Lincoln running mate.

Good call Sally, 10 pt loss. I thought they played pretty well. Tons of turnovers, but pretty good D. This was my first chance to see SMU play this year. I thought Rack looked pretty damn good! Tons better than last year. He made some jumpers and even had a dunk early in the game....

This loss is a lot easier to take compared to the one in the Ford Center a couple years back...

not bad, but OSU is not the same team they were a few years ago. Although they do have one of the top recruiting classes in the country on the floor tonight. Dez had a big game and Morris continues to show a little something each time out. Maybe playing at OSU will help him realize the intensity level it takes. Roberts and Pearson were decent. The disappointment to me is Epps tonight. He has a great jumper and a good body, but doesnt look ready to contribute and as a juco he needs to be.

Wow, we ended up losing by 10? I should start putting money on these things.

That Ford Center game (that was the one in Ok City, right?) pissed me off because it was supposed to be a neutral site game. Obviously, being in Oklahoma, you'd expect many more Ok State fans than SMU fans, but I was pissed when I turned the game on and saw the OSU cheerleaders and band at the game. Being in the SMU band, we never heard a thing about it, so I don't know if SMU never even looked into it, or if they asked and we declined to go. I know most of us would have driven ourselves up there to play at the game if we'd known, but unless it's a tournament game, you assume the band isn't going to away games.

"If you go back and check my record, boy I love playing the Ponies," - coach Eddie Sutton

I believe SMU lost by 19 pts last time out against OK State and the year before was 89-54.
