"We just can't have 19 turnovers," the Mustangs coach said. "We've sung this song. That's a weakness of our team. We don't handle the ball great."

"We just have to get better......." former football coach Mike "Cave-in" Cavan. How many years did we have to hear that one?

"As coaches, it's our responisbility to get the players prepared....." current football coach Phil "still looking for his first winning season" Bennett

this team is playing this season without a true point guard, and it shows. I wonder if coach is re-thinking that plan to bring in only one PG next year. We knew this was going to be a painful season. I will be impressed if these guys can find a way to finish .500 but I don't see it happening. It's going to take some time to build this program. Hopefully nobody steals Doherty away before the job is done.

Isnt Willingham a "true point guard"; he started all last season as a PG and was recruited as such

With his height, I can't see you calling him anything but a true PG.

You will also note that he played 23 or 24 minutes in the Tulsa game and did not have any turnovers. Actually it now appears to be our big men
who are turning it over the most - they had 11 between them. They
can't catch the ball and they don't protect the ball well in the paint.
