Anyone know Malone's plans? I wonder if he couldn't find a comfortable new home somewhere in the Southland Conference?? I could see him putting 20 on the Mustangs as a Sr somewhere

If he does, then that would mean he actually decided to work on his game.
On my deleted threat on the mission in the offseason, I stated that he and Harp should pack their bags. Well, part of that problem is solved.

Alex is a good guy who has talent.
Best of luck, Alex, wherever you end up, and thanks for your effort with the Ponies.

Alex had real talent, somehow he always seemed to be in Doh's doghouse...best of luck to him and I will miss him

At least we have another opportunity to bring someone in.

He was in doh's doghouse because he couldn't or wouldn't play defense....

When will Doherty get his release? A 10 win season followed by a 9 win season with a non-conference scheduled specifically picked to get some easy wins does not cut it. The fact Doherty is still the coach at SMU shows everyone that Orsini's "Top 25" comment was nothing more than empty words to get suckers to donate more to SMU athletics. Does anyone else feel mislead and cheated?

Malone does have talent. And he has wasted it. Plus, the comment about his defense was dead on. He didn't work on it.

I'm sorry this was the result for him but some of you need to portraying him as a victim.

Oh, enlighten us - how often did you go to practice to see what he did and didn't work on?

 I guess my 5-6 games of either in person or on TV and evaluation from there and what I watched from last year mean zip.

But since you ask. From my limited access, I thought his footwork was poor and he allowed too many to drive by him.

So will we be the "youngest team in the conference" yet again?

We're number young! We're number young! We're number young! We're number young! We're number young! We're number young! We're number young!

Wait, that makes no sense.

We have Malone's scholarship and Hoge's scholarship to work with. Assuming we go 1 JUCO and 1 HS our class distribution of scholarship players next year will be as follows:

Senior- 2 (Faye, Williams)
Junior- 5 (Dia, Walker, Harp, TK, Juco)
Soph- 4 (McCoy, Nayakundi, Haynes, Otis)
Frosh- 2 (Julius, HS kid)
