Not that we'd have a shot at either of these guys, but two local kids back on the open market...

And several underclassmen on the all area team, but once again, most likely none considering SMU...

There is also a all area team senior who committed to Memphis. He may be back in play too, no?

Yes, Nolan Dennis, a 6-6 G from Richland, committed to Memphis. No word on whether he's going there or not now.

I wouldn't be suprised if this was really more Calipari's doing because he wants those scholarships for them four high powered recruits he had coming into Memphis to go to Kentucky instead, new inductees to his "one and done" club.

I think SMU should go after PG GJ Vilarino really hard. This could be a big break for SMU.

I agree. The worst he can do is say no.

Let's see what happens to another Kentucky verbal, Konner Tucker from Ft. Worth Paschal. He just completed his freshman year @ Lon Morris JC in Lufkin, Tx.

KC ross miller is probably not good enough to play at Kentucky in the future. Calipari will be bringing in some amazing studs.

GJ Vilarino was definitely not good enough to compete at the elite level. He is mid major all the way.

So, angry your view is that given a choice between playing in the Big XII or ACC or CUSA, a kid with pro dreams and a choice of any school in the Country would pick a CUSA school or an ACC or Big XII school. If you haven't figured it out, yet, that's why Baylor does as well as they are doing in recruiting in DFW. Now who on the lower rung from Dallas do you want us to recruit.

They are not good enough. That is why they WON'T be going to UK....... or any other program on Calipari's level for that matter.

Vilarino is open and available to sign right now. Notice that none of the high majors are beating down his door to sign him.

Probably not because Arlington was too close.
