Coach Doh - Ash Heap of SMU History????

Postby SoCal_Pony » Thu Apr 23, 2009 1:46 am

I have seen this play far too often.

Coach Doh and the SMU BB program just took a significant body blow tonight. One I suspect he will not be able to recover from.

He failed miserably in his search for a Big Man. We now have a commitment so typical of the last Phil Bennett years. Not even top 100 JC in California???? That is an unacceptable joke.

He does not have a team that can compete at the highest levels or win championships. His coaching has deservedly come under much scrutiny.

SO would be insane to give this man a contract extension unless there is significant improvement next year, which I now doubt will occur.

Let the Oscar jokes began.

VERY disappointing to say the least.

The hunt for big men isn't over just yet. Let's see how it goes on Sunday when Sandi Marcius makes his choice.

Doesn't seem like a big shock, aren't we out of ships?
