SMU women fell 62-60 at UAB in the conference opener.

That's a tough loss. We are a borderline at-large team after our non-conference games and we really need to have a strrong conference season to back that up.

We just couldn't get a loose ball I'm the last 30 seconds. Tough break. We really have been fighting it for the last two weeks. Regroup Saturday for Memphis.

Didn't sound like we were good on free throws either.

Didn't catch it on the Iphone. I meant ...in the last 30 seconds.

Also checked on the FTs. We were 18-27 (67%) -- not good. In fact, we're not good at line this year overall at 67%. That's going to burn us more than we care to admit if we keep getting into close games.
