Posted: Sun Apr 29, 2012 10:31 pmI thought all players on scholarships counted against the allowable scholarships. Even if an athlete is on an academic scholarship, it still counts against your athletic scholarship limit.

i don't think that's correct. good buddy of mine started out on a full academic ride at OU to play baseball. preferred walk-on kind of deal. didn't count against the limit. got a baseball ship after his sophomore year and then counted against the limit.
at least i think that's the way he described it. i don't profess to be an expert here.
