I say definitely take him - maybe he's drinking because he's playing for Arizona. I would be. ;-)

Also, I heard from an informed source (I think) that we signed/are signing a top JUCO player who had an offer from UConn out of HS. Anybody know anything about this?

Reminds me of a larger Stephon Marbury. If the kid wants to realize his dream of playing in the NBA, no better place to get his act together than with his incredible coaching staff.

If George Lynch can't shape him up, nobody can.

I'd like to be in the meeting between Brown, RGT and JT...which will undoubtedly happen. I'm sure we'd learn some interesting things...

Smooth. Put him on a short lease. See how he does during his year off and bring him on as we enter the BEAST. The new sherrif (LB) is in town and he has a new way of doing things including a focus on winning. What a concept.

I understand he is not enrolled at SMU yet amd may never be, but I get bad vibes from this story like nothing else I've seen thus far about the coming of Coach Brown.

as Hoopmanx alluded to countless times, these are the types of steps universities take that want to be competitive in college BB.

They are coming here to get an education in BB and that’s about it.

I say bring the kid in and hope that Brown can be a positive influence on him.

Finally, Top 20 in something we do

I've met the kid many times, and know tons of stories. I could care less about the DWI, that's small stuff
