slow creep up the RPI is always good. Now at 38 (was at 40 last week). Just keep winning, baby! Kill the little Coogies and then our next "super bowl" is @UConn (have a lot to prove in that game - bigs have to have monster offensive game to win that one and our perimeter D has to be dang near perfect).

Why is RPI about 15 pts worse than the other rankings?

They all have different math (or some are votes obviously). RPI is 25% your record, 50% your opponents' combined record and 25% your opponents' opponents' combined records. SMU played 6 horrible teams that are dragging down that last 75%.

need to take care of bidness against UH/UCF, then another big win against any combo of Louisville/Uconn/Memphis, then win at least 1 game in AAC tourney - that's how we go dancing...

Looks like the sting of that Temple game is slowly wearing off. Lets win against UCONN and drive those numbers down further.
