My guess would be that we would get votes after beating Temple and USF. I don't think we actually get into the top 25 unless we beat Cincy.

That sounds fair.

Sagarin's got us at #28 today. Interestingly, Baylor is #8.

It did in RPI. And it hurt because we could have made a big jump and all but solidified tourny. What a gut punch

Lack of a marquee road win is going to be the narrative if they try to keep us out, assuming we win the vast majority of what's left on the schedule but don't end up winning the auto bid. Pitt neutral site win is what we have to hang our hat on there - of all the non-conference opponents, that's the one that we should be the biggest fans of.

I think if we win all our road games against decent teams like UCF and Houston and come in nonworse than 2nd in the conference, I think we will be fine getting into the tourney. We also need to make sure we do well in the conference and play Cincy in the finals. If that all happen, and we snubbed, then the NCAA needs to be taken down.

I have been an SMU fan too long to take anything for granted. There is nothing quite like winning your conference tournament. That's how we make sure we are in.

yeah the starting lineup has to remain healthy too for the rest of the schedule-that in itself is not easy to do for an entire season
