I was a little surprised by Tulanes performance against USF. They went there and won by 15 while we won by 19 at our home. Possible trap game?

looks like Pitt's 55 point home implosion sent us from No. 30 to No. 34 in Live RPI

I think Jeff Sagarin is pretty spot on with his rankings so far this season. We've been "see-sawing" in low 30's and high 20's in his rankings. As a fan, I say we should be lower, but when you look at those whose rankings are a bit more scientific (Pomeroy, Sagarin, Entropy(currently has us at 28 compared to say, Cincy, at 21). Their ratings, relative to their respective scales, are very pretty tight between between 10-30.

For a longtime, RPI Forecast was predicting a regular season record of 24-7. That's been upgraded to 25-6. Per RPI Forecast, we're now favored to win every game, but by less than a point to Cincy at home and Houston on the road.

How do they determine that? We're favored to win every game but their simulation predicts we'll lose two of them anyway?

If you had a coin that landed heads 70% of the time would you expect it to never land on tails?

Yes.
