Nigel Smith and Jon Forinash were awesome against the Owls! Awesome with a capital A! Forinash was active, blocked shots (more than the two he got credit for) and made people think twice before coming down the lane. Nigel had some blocks, nine boards (!) and showed a nice turnaround jumper. Watch out, SMU is no longer a perimeter-only team!

Where the big guys against UTEP? Floyd did OK, at least defensively, but we had no interior offense (or anywhere else, except Sasser), and we should have tried more options to help Jeryl out. Maybe one of the big guys, after they played so well against Rice, would have added a little offense down low.
