Niemi has played some quality minutes. I think he had 12 or 13 points in the Tulsa game. He has provided the team with a little spark this whole year.

If he stays consistent, he may be our starting center next year. He needs some more work on his defense in order to really help us against teams with a big man.

Niemi had played above expectations, but I think he is far from being a starter or a powerhouse in the WAC, and that is not saying too too much.

I think Niemi is building some confidence and finding a role at being a spark in the middle.

I look for him to mature and become a better player every game.
