Troubles with local Media

Today is the day before the biggest game in SMU and TCU's season. A rivalry that spans back a long time and finds itself in the middle of the DFW Metroplex--also in the middle of the Dallas Morning New's coverage area.

Yet I see no article in any media source about this game.

Shame on the media. This is why the DMN is over rated. Their coverage of everyone is great, except the people in their own back yard.

To the DMN: you are not the USA Today or NY Times, you are the DMN, so cover Dallas and quit trying to be something you are not.

You mean A&M and UT aren't in Dallas?

They usually only run articles on game day.

You spoke too soon Bballer. There is an article now. But I will agree with you that DMN lacks coverage of Dallas.

As I've said before that paper covers everying BUT Dallas -- their national and statewide news (on the front page and in sports) is pretty good, but their Dallas coverage leaves a lot to be desired.

Blackstone column in the DMN today pretty much sums it up....pretty brutal, honest, and to the point. Talks about respect for Dement, inside play, and whether Sasser improved....and the disappointments.
