Very true. I was waiting to gauge the interest level which is needless to say very high.

The ticket office has already had over 800 new requests for season tickets for next year. Existing ticket holders will see a small increase, new season ticket holders will pay more for tickets...............

I think the football payments are being taken through sometime in May. For 2013-14 basketball, the payment for season tickets started in the late summer like mid-to-end of August. Maybe they'll move that date up a little bit because of the expected demand. Either way, this is the payoff for buying season tickets before Larry Brown even coached a game at SMU. I have no problem with the bump. More revenue for the athletic department.

Unfortunately I was still in school and did not have the money then. I am hoping some decent seats will still be available.

It will be interesting to see the order in which they handle requests. Will current season BB holders get to expand seat selection before others?

This is 800 new people. They are requesting approximately 3000 tickets.

With what I am reading, I am just hoping there are any seats left (season tickets, not single games).

While I will for sure re-new my seats for next year ... I really don't anticipate it being a challenge to get tickets to the games.

Remember, we will play a solid 8ish home games in Nov-Dec against total crap opponents. Louisville will be gone, so there will only be 4-5 "must see" games. After a couple games we will get used to Muiday destroying the likes of Texas State. The meaningful games come along in conference play.

Just my thoughts, but I already have the seats.

Huh?? I have very little doubt that every game at Moody next season will be a sellout regardless of opponent. As for the OOC, we will have far less "crap opponents" this year than last, maybe a couple. The difference now is people are coming to see SMU play, not just our opponent. It's a different ballgame. SMU basketball is a "thing" not just around SMU, but around Dallas.
